Announcement Happy SHINY new year, everyone! I will be branching out this year into teaching basic jewelry-making courses, as well as working on some elaborate commissions, and returning to the local craft fair circuit… but I shall endeavor to keep my shop filled with plenty of whimsical shiny things! If you have a question or a request for things I have created in the past, don’t hesitate to contact me! (For the gallery: http://OohShiny.jewelry)

I originally bought this as a gift. When it arrived, I KEPT IT FOR MYSELF!!!😆😆😆 At first, I felt guilty. That didn’t last long! This set is gorgeous.🤗❤️❤️❤️
Joy in Jewelry
I began working with various beading and wire techniques shortly after veterinary school; having focused so hard on the scientific side of my life, my artistic side needed expression, and I have always loved working with my hands. Initially, I crafted jewelry items for friends and family as gifts, but more and more people began asking if I offered custom pieces for sale... and my jewelry business was born.
I seldom work from patterns, preferring to create my own after visualizing a piece. Jewelry is an ongoing process, with each piece teaching me something that I apply to the next. I have notebooks stuffed with inspirations! My favorite works have been custom commissions, ranging from "make me something that matches this outfit" to "can you recreate the earrings my mom had that I always loved?" I've also recreated mates for lost strays, and reworked broken pieces into something new and modern, that suited the wearer.
Contact me! I am friendly and love to discuss how I can tailor a piece specifically for you. I can always be reached via OohShiny.jewelry.

Custom and personalized orders
I love custom orders! Want to match something in your wardrobe? Re-create something you saw? Match an existing piece? Turn a keepsake into wearable art? Contact me at http://oohshiny.jewelry, and let’s make something unIque and shiny for you!
While I don’t usually post lengths, I am happy to measure and provide details on request. If you order a piece and wish it resized, let me know; I will happily tailor it for you.
I do try to make my pieces robust enough to withstand what life demands! Metal pieces can be kept shiny by gentle polishing with a jeweler’s cloth. If anything breaks, ship it to me and I will happily repair it, free of charge.
Gift wrapping and packaging
I am working to create some unique gift wrapping, and will happily provide it for a small fee. Packaging: most pieces are shipped in bubble mailers, with larger or more structured pieces shipped via USPS flat rate small box. Orders containing multiple pieces will also be shipped via flat rate box — at no extra charge.
