Natural, elegant, statement jewelry for the Earthy Goddess in YOU

Welcome, and thank you so much for dropping by!

I wish I could honestly attribute Organic Alchemist it to anything else, but the truth is that in the 3rd grade I was diagnosed with “math anxiety”.
Absolutely ridiculous. Only in a crunchy place like Vermont.
As a kid I was a neurotic, superstitious, slightly irrational worry wart. Especially when it came to Math class. Instead of studying and learning like a regular middle schooler, I cried myself to sleep in a bed of panic, praying to every last deity that I knew of to aid me in passing exams. I wound up learning more about diverse modes of ancient spirituality and who the best gods to pray (beg) to were, than algebraic equations. Suffice it to say, I was a strange math challenged kid. By the time I was 15 I had convinced myself that Azurite would help me through Chemistry math and Citrine would bring me luck on the tests. When my lucky stones would get lost or crumble in my pocket, I started putting them on my neck and ears. By the time I reached Algebra 2 ,I was an unintentional fountain of metaphysical crystal knowledge, a devotee of Ganesh, a budding jeweler, but still completely unable to solve an Algebra equation.

Many years have passed and not much has changed. I am still endlessly fascinated by anything esoteric or ancient and I do love to make jewelry. Thankfully, these days it less to do with "fixes" and more to do with creating a line that is feminine, rustic, simplistic and organic feeling. Organic Alchemist pieces are handmade with my favorite earthy ingredients, I hope you find feminine adornments that remind us of our roots, while adding some modern elegance and style.

I travel, boogie, learn and create. Its hard for me to stay in one place for long but this gypsy store is based in the woods of Vermont. When I'm not on the go with tools and jewels in tow, I design and make everything in my little cabin.
