La tela es mi pasión e inspiración para todos mis esfuerzos de costura. Vender en Etsy es un resultado natural de mi obsesión, ya que necesito una salida y un propósito para todas mis compras y creatividad.
La decoración del hogar con textiles es una forma rápida y fácil de cambiar un estado de ánimo o una temporada en su hogar con un mínimo esfuerzo y gasto. He descubierto que los sofás, sillas y mesas se pueden acentuar con un intercambio de almohadas o corredores de mesa.
Me encantan las almohadas acolchadas, los tapices de pared y los lanzamientos, pero hasta ahora no puedo soportar venderlos ya que son más intensivos en mano de obra. Los guardo o los doy como regalos a personas especiales. Puedes ver en mis fotos que también hago tonos romanos y recupero cojines de silla.
Cuando empecé a vender en Etsy diseñé y cosí bolsos, totes, clutches y bolsos de muchos estilos, formas y tamaños. Los estoy trasladando de nuevo a OriginalCopy Designs desde otra tienda BagToteCarry. A pesar de que son modas caseras y personales, siento que mis elecciones de telas y estilos forman una colección consistente.
¿Diseñador de interiores, quilter, creador de accesorios de moda? Solo algunos de los muchos sombreros que usé para comenzar mi sueño de vender en Etsy. ¡Poco sabía que tendría que agregar fotógrafo, contador, investigador, autopromotor, remitente y redactor a mi creciente currículum!
Fabric is my passion and inspiration for all of my sewing endeavors. Selling on Etsy is a natural outcome of my obsession since I need an outlet and purpose for all of my purchases and creativity.
Home decorating with textiles is a quick and easy way to change up a mood or season in your home with minimal effort and expense. I have found that sofas, chairs and tables can be accented with a swap of pillows or table runners.
I love quilting pillows, wall hangings and throws but so far I can't bear to sell them since they are more labor intensive. I keep them or give them as gifts to special people. You can see from my photos that I also make roman shades and recover chair cushions.
When I started out selling on Etsy I designed and sewed bags, totes, clutches and purses of many styles, shapes and sizes. I am moving them back into OriginalCopy Designs from another shop BagToteCarry. Even though they are home and personal fashions, I feel that my choices of fabrics and styles form a consistent collection.
Interior designer, quilter, fashion accessory creator? Just some of the many hats I wore to begin my dream of selling on Etsy. Little did I know that I'd have to add photographer, bookkeeper, researcher, self promoter, shipper, and copywriter to my growing resume!
