My Name is Lauren and I Love to Sew

Sewing is something I have loved since elementary school.

I made many of my clothes in high school and even my prom gowns.

I am also an avid quilter and have a few quilted items in my shop.

When I had my first child I needed a way to make money and stay at home. I tried several things and then when she was almost a year old I started doing craft shows.

I did them for a number of years, had a son during that time, even won a few ribbons.

I loved doing shows and meeting customers and other vendors, but then I stopped.

My kids were playing sports and joining clubs and I couldn't give up that weekend time anymore, so I started teaching adult education sewing classes at a local school.

Fast forward to 2008 and after many incarnations of my business, I found etsy and opened my first etsy shop. I now have four, but this is my first and favorite.

I enjoy creating items that make others happy, and I try my very best to please every one of you. I love when customers contact me to tell me what they did with their purchase. I especially love to see photographs of the items in their home.
