Artist Barbara Noel - Outer Banks, NC
About The Artist
Barbara Noel ‘s landscapes and still life paintings are rich in bold color and personified, whimsical shapes. Vivid island landscapes and beach scenes as well as historic Nags Head cottages are her favorite subjects. Originally from Latrobe PA, Noel studied graphic design at LaRoche College in Pittsburgh PA before relocating to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Noel’s love of fine art in high school led her to a career in graphic design. While in college, her studies included extensive art history and painting curriculum. Her professional graphic design experience spans over 22 years. Noel currently splits her time between her design business and painting.
