Oxbow Studio es una operación de una sola mujer especializada en joyería de lotes pequeños y pinturas de medios mixtos. No importa el medio, creo con intención y conexión con la Madre Naturaleza a través de diseños orgánicos, gestos sueltos e intuitivos, o simplemente dejando que los materiales hablen por sí mismos,
Oxbow Studio comenzó como una forma de compartir mi viaje de orfebrería. Explorando las características de la plata de ley y centrándome en mis piedras favoritas (turquesa, jaspe y ágata) comencé a aprender a hablar a través de estos materiales.
Después de 5 años de centrarme únicamente en este oficio, comencé a enfrentar el siempre temido agotamiento artístico. Para sobrellevarlo, decidí probar algo completamente diferente y me enamoré de la pintura abstracta. Los colores, la espontaneidad y la naturaleza indulgente de la pintura era un contraste bienvenido con el metal y la piedra siempre rígidos con los que estaba acostumbrado a trabajar.
A menudo me gusta dejar que estos medios se influyan mutuamente. A veces incorporando formas abstractas en mis joyas o pan de oro y polvo de plata en mis pinturas.

Oxbow Studio is a one woman operation specializing in small batch jewelry and mixed media paintings. No matter the medium, I create with intention and connection to Mother Nature through organic designs, loose and intuitive gestures, or simply letting the materials speak for themselves,
Oxbow Studio first began as a way for me to share my journey of metalsmithing. Exploring the characteristics of sterling silver, and focusing on my favorite stones (turquoise, jasper, and agate) I began to learn how to speak through these materials.
After 5 years of focusing solely on this craft, I began to face the ever dreaded artistic burnout. To cope, I decided to try something completely different and fell in love with abstract painting. The colors, the spontaneity, and the forgiving nature of paint was a welcomed contrast to the ever rigid metal and stone I was used to working with.
I often like to let these medias influence each other. Sometimes incorporating abstract shapes into my jewelry or gold leaf and silver dust into my paintings.
