Ekrem Auto Upholstery was established by Ekrem Atasoy in 1977 in Ankara, Turkey. Initially, our focus was on auto upholstery processes and vehicle restoration, catering predominantly to premium brands such as Mercedes and BMW. Auto upholstery is a meticulous craft that demands both skill and a keen aesthetic sense.
In 1989, we diversified our offerings by venturing into the sale of automotive textile products. Our inventory included a range of items such as auto upholstery fabrics, faux leather, genuine leather, automotive carpets, and headliner fabrics. Many of the original automotive fabrics from that era still grace our shelves today.
The year 2002 marked a significant milestone as we commenced the production of vehicle-specific velour floor mats using high-quality automotive carpets sourced from Europe. Initially, these velour carpet mats were sold exclusively within Turkey. Notably, customers had the option to customize the edge and stitching colors according to their preferences.
In 2008, we launched our first website, ekremotodoseme.com, thereby expanding our reach and visibility within the local market. This online presence enabled us to showcase our products and connect with a wider audience.
By 2017, our online platform evolved to allow customers to place orders directly through our website. We enhanced the user experience by presenting hundreds of different products with authentic images, offering greater convenience and transparency.
In response to the challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic, in 2020, we ventured into international sales through palaztex.com. Leveraging real photos and videos, we showcased our extensive catalogue of over 1000 different patterns, catering to numerous brands and models. This strategic move not only facilitated global access to our products but also bolstered our promotional efforts.
Today, Ekrem Auto Upholstery continues its legacy of excellence, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation to meet the diverse needs of automotive enthusiasts worldwide.
