Siempre he sabido coser. ¡Tuve la suerte de tener una abuela paciente que me dejó practicar en su máquina de coser y me mostró las cuerdas de cómo se hacía cuando era joven!

Mi abuela Darlene era una costurera galardonada, a quien siempre admiraba. Cuando era pequeña la recuerdo sentada detrás de mí mientras trabajaba en pequeños proyectos como una almohada o un pequeño bolso de cambio, siempre diciéndome que "fuera despacio", o "mirara doblando esa esquina". ¡Mi abuela es increíble, y todavía cose hasta el día de hoy! Le doy muchas gracias y amor por enseñarme esta gran habilidad.

Siempre he sido astuto y tengo una necesidad natural de hacer las cosas hermosas. Comencé mi tienda cuando volví a coser a los veinte años, después de tener a mi hija frst. Comencé con artículos pequeños como paños para eructar y mantas y bolsos para bebés, y una falda aquí y allá. Después de que pasaron unos meses, hice mis primeras ventas en etsy y comencé a recibir solicitudes de ropa para niñas pequeñas de algunas de mis amigas. Los artículos salieron tan hermosos y de aspecto profesional que decidí agregar más y más a la tienda. Ahora es todo lo que me gusta hacer. ¡Cose, peine, venda! Sin mencionar que a mi hija Hannah le encantaba usar todo lo que hice.

Me enorgullezco de cada artículo que hago y quiero que sea perfecto. Hacer artículos hechos a mano es un placer y no me encanta nada más ver niñas pequeñas de todo el país en mis diseños.

I have always known how to sew. I was lucky enough to have a patient grandmother who let me practice on her sewing machine and show me the ropes of how it was done when I was young!

My grandmother Darlene was a prize winning seamstress, who I always looked up to. When I was little I remember her sitting behind me as I worked on small projects like a pillow or a little change purse, always telling me to "go slow", or "watch rounding that corner"...."take that pin out". My grandmother is amazing, and still sews to this day! I give her much thanks and love for teaching me this great skill.

I have always been crafty and have a natural need to make things beautiful. I started my shop when I got back into sewing in my early twenties, after I had my frst daughter. I started with small items like burp cloths and baby blankets and bags, and a skirt here and there. After a few months passed I made my first few sales on etsy, and started to get requests for little girls clothing from a few of my friends. The items came out so beautiful and professional looking that I decided to add more and more to the shop. Now it's all I like to do. Sew, style, sell! Not to mention my daughter Hannah LOVED wearing everything I made.

I take pride in every item I make, and want it to be perfect. Making handmade items is such a pleasure and I love nothing more to see little girls all over the country in my designs.
