After living in a 12 room house from the 1840s for 20 years I moved into a 6 room ranch style house from 1978. Some of the things I collected over the years I gave away, sold or sent to an auction house. The rest I stored in the basement and barn. My son-in-law's mother sells on Etsy and encouraged me to open a shop to sell off some of my treasures. As soon as I got started I was hooked. I'm slowly selling off my items from storage but am still buying at estate and garage sales, and searching through antique shops for unique finds. Going out treasure hunting most weekends is something my husband and I can enjoy together and he's learning about all sorts of vintage items. It's surprising to hear him show me something and ask - "Isn't this Blendo? or Did you see this Culver glass?" I hope you visit my shop often to see what's new.

I have always lived in rural upstate New York just south of the Adirondack Mountains. It is a beautiful area (as seen in my icon) and full of history. In such an old area many antique and vintage item can be found. I'm looking for them - for you.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment is accepted through PayPal, Etsy gift cards or credit cards through Direct Checkout. If you want to send a money order or check, please contact me. If a payment through the mail is agreed to, payment should reach me within 10 days. When payment clears the bank the item will be shipped. NO INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS - my bank charges $20.00 to process these.

Please contact me if you would like to place an item of reserve for you. If I do place a listing on reserve I will only hold it for 48 hours unless we agree on other terms.
I usually ship world wide upon request. I do not use calculated shipping. Please send me your zip code if you would like to know the actual cost before you purchase an item. 2 out of 3 times the cost is less than my estimate. If you are interested in buying 2 or more items please ask for a quote on combined shipping before you purchase the items. I estimate shipping coast to coast through USPS with insurance and delivery confirmation. If the item is heavy, a flat rate box may be cheaper. If the actual shipping is more than $1.00 less than the estimated cost I will refund the difference in $1.00 increments. I usually process refunds every weekend. I try to ship by the cheapest method. That includes sometimes re-using boxes and packing supplies.

If you need the item in a hurry or just prefer a different method of shipping, contact me and I will work with you.

If you are outside the U.S. lower 48 states, please contact me for a shipping quote. I will add the location to the item description after we agree on a price so you can purchase it. Any import or customs fees that are charged by your country are the responsibility of the buyer to pay.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are vintage and sold as is. I try to describe the items as accurately as possible, pointing out any defect no matter how small. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns before you purchase an item. Refunds will usually only be given if there is an error is the listing or an insurance claim is filed for damage or loss in transit. If you have any problems after you receive an item please contact me immediately. Any item that we agree can be returned must be returned at buyers expense within 7 days by the same shipping method that it was shipped to you, in the same condition that it was sold.

If you receive an item damaged in shipping, please contact me immediately and save all packing materials. If the box is ripped or damaged in any way, it is best to take a photo before you open it.
