About

Button accented handmade bags and jewelry made from a combination of antique and recycled finds.

When I was in middle school, I first discovered Etsy.
I had just begun making little bags and little tiny button earrings in my basement, and something about the idea of selling my handmade things made me excited.
In spite of other interests, I have continued to dream about my Etsy shop and attempt to turn my dreams into a reality throughout middle and high school. I still make button jewelry and I still love creating things just as much as when I was 13.
PaintedBLOOM has become a vital part of my life and who I am, a reflection of my time aimlessly creating little things in the basement, hoping that someday someone will love them just as much I loved making them.

I like buttons and bits. I like making pretty things out of forgotten buttons.
