Excellent craftsmanship! Seller is extremely nice and very reliable. Shipped on time, quicker than expected. My hoodie did not take long at all to be made. The customization is the best part, seller takes her time to make absolute sure it will fit you perfectly and it is exactly what you want :) Thank you PanicInPolkadots!

It's perfect. Good lord. The craftsmanship looks like it came from the factory like this. It's exactly what I had hoped and more. The seller was amazing to work with and kept me in the loop. Responsive, fast, and the shipping came almost 2 weeks early. She even included a little package of "thank you" items. Really. A++ would recommend this seller to anyone and everyone

About

Panic in Polkadots is a silly name for a shop!

One day I had a thought cloud that stuck with me, and made perfect sense to no one but me: "Panic in Polkadots!" It just seemed to roll right off the tongue, with fun, perky, bubbly persistence. I knew I would have a shop one day called "Panic in Polkadots." I just didn't know how it would come to be.

It all started when I began to made clothes for myself, since nothing ever seemed to fit right: to my body or my personality. I would modify clothes, buy clothes from thrift stores, cut them up and bleach them. I loved creating things, and I loved owning something unique that no one else had. Often, people would ask where I got my fashions. But, it seemed difficult to make clothes for anyone else but me. I didn't use conventional methods of measuring and drawing up patterns. I just went for it, cut and sewed until it seemed right, creating little masterpieces along the way.

Eventually, I was introduced to the world of collage. I made several collages of any size and theme, using paint, mod podge, old canvases, and magazine clippings. I would sit for hours and cut up zines into letters and little pictures and quotes, to fill a shoebox. Soon thereafter, I picked up the art of candle pouring. I bought candle tins but decided that they needed a little decoration, so I decoupaged them! These unique candles were decorative and functional. All of a sudden, people wanted to buy my product, and I loved to create the individualized, unique items!

Panic in Polkadots took off! I then began looking into what else to create, Bottlecap Jewelry! Wristbands made out of fabric scraps, camera cases with film camera prints! But once I started creating animal friends, I knew right away that these would be my signature product. One raccoon started it all, and I still have her to this day! So many animal friend stuffed animals have found amazing homes! I am over the moon about it!

Of course, now I am greatly inspired by my customers! I have had the BEST suggestions for plushies of all kinds: jellyfish, ladybugs, mermaids, clouds, ice cream cones, cupcakes! I have created some amazing one-of-a-kind tshirt quilts! I have created necktie attire that was showcased in a fashion show! I've made tote bags! Fabric Rubik's cubes! Pillows! Pet bowties! The list could go on.

So, let's keep this creativity going for many years to come. It's raining polkadots, did you bring YOUR umbrella?

My Mom taught me how to sew doll blankets when I was a little girl. Later, I'd modify my own clothes and was always known as the girl with the one-of-a-kind outfits. Now, I love to create for my customers. Any day that's a sewing day is my favorite!

I share my sewing studio with an orange tabby cat, who likes to believe that she is my assistant, even if she never makes the coffee! She knows her boundaries, and keeps clear of my projects for the most part. With lint roller in hand, I strive to remove all feline evidence and pack your products free of orange fuzz. However, some people are extremely allergic, and may have an adverse reaction to products created here. Please consider this before buying.
