Papa's Wood Shop Where Ideas Turn Into Wood

Rawlins, Wyoming

Top shop for gifts.

Buyers bought gifts from this shop and gave them 5-star reviews!

Announcement    I hope you enjoy looking at my wooden items and perhaps one will tickle your fancy. All items are hand made by myself in my small woodworking shop here in Rawlins, Wyoming. I hope it is a pleasurable experience for you with myself and my shop! I have had this small business for about 5 years with no price increases. After seeing the rise in price of the lumber that I use, I have had to make the decision to raise my prices across the board. I hope these new prices are still reasonable but the bottom line is, I cannot afford to sell my creations under the current pricing structure. I look forward to making these items for a long time into the futurwe. Life is good and I am enjoying it to the fullest. Thanks for your kind words and positive thoughts.

On Etsy since 2015

I'm retired!

I am now 66 years old and I retired in September of 2014. I have always been a woodworker, starting when I was a teenager. My grandfather and father both taught me how to safely use power tools and I have been doing so ever since. I had not done much for the 10 - 15 years prior to retiring due a lack of time but I knew I needed to find something to occupy some time Woodworking fit that bill. I have been doing woodworking again since my retirement, selling on Facebook, Craig's List, my own website (http://www.sawdustunlimited.net) and Ebay. That is when Etsy came along and I decided it was the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the items I have made. I hope you enjoy looking at my creations and if you buy something, I hope it serves you for many years. I do custom orders so let me know if you have an item that you would like me to try making for you.
