About PaperComeback

From old to new! With me, beautiful, old paper gets a new life!

Old books and atlases have always been a great passion of mine - and with it the fabulous paper from which they are made! It feels so wonderful and is great to process.

If I find old, tattered maps, books or sheet music at the flea market or in the antiquarian bookshop, an idea immediately arises in my head of what I could conjure up from it: gift boxes in many formats, cards for Easter, Christmas, birthdays, a thank you or a lovely greeting, pennant necklaces, paper stars for the window and corresponding seasonal products, such as e.B Advent calendars.

Also paper snippets and leftovers from handicrafts from the kindergarten are still processed, e.B. as small motifs on the cards and envelopes. Each piece is very individual and has its own story.

After the first products were created as private gifts, more inquiries quickly came. The joy was great and the fun in the production anyway! With the first request for a local castle Christmas market, things took their course two years ago.

In the meantime, I am involved in many markets in the region, especially in the run-up to Christmas, and in 2020 I have started to take orders during the year. Since everything continues to grow via social media, this small shop has now been created in order to be able to handle the processing better. I am very happy to be able to show you my products here.

I am also happy to make desired motifs on the gift boxes or larger quantities of the cards. Just talk to me. Have fun browsing and feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Frequently asked questions
Custom-made products and personalized orders

On request, I am also happy to make very personal editions, e.B. of gift boxes. Greeting cards in larger quantities and on special occasions, such as .B weddings, round birthdays, etc., are also possible on request - with appropriate advance notice. Please contact me by e-mail: anja.horstmann@gmx.de

Gift wrapping and packaging

I am happy to send your order directly as a gift packaged. By prior arrangement and payment received, also to a delivery address desired by you, e.B. directly to the birthday child.

Care instructions

My products are usually made of old paper, which is a delicate material. Especially boxes and stars should not be exposed to moisture, as I do not seal them to maintain the original feel. If you have any questions about the production, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Adhesive used

Both the bookbinding glue I use and the craft glue are solvent-free. The card blanks are made of recycled paper and awarded the Blue Angel.

Paper smell

Old paper has its very own smell, which can sometimes be perceived as "musty" after many years on the private shelf or in the antiquarian bookshop. This usually settles when the paper is processed into stars or other products and thus "airs out", so to speak.

Distribution

I receive my materials, such as .B old atlases, books, sheet music, etc., mostly from private individuals, from second-hand bookshops and from flea markets. Often I also get paper remnants from handicrafts from kindergartens or schools. Even the smallest "snippet" can still create something new.
