Como um garoto chave de trava, eu não era supervisionado a maior parte do tempo e brincava fora e nas árvores o mais frequentemente possível. A natureza e a floresta sempre foram minha inspiração.
Minha família me deu oportunidades de criar todo tipo de arte com muitos médiuns. Portanto, não fui constrangido por regras e fórmulas convencionais. Eu amo encontrar novas maneiras de fazer as coisas e reutilizar materiais todos os dias com resultados surpreendentes.
Sou principalmente um artista de mídia mista autodidata que pinta arte de parede bidimensional, bem como arte de papel texturizada e esculpida muitas vezes feita de papéis que eu me recicla, incluindo lixo-correio. Gosto de surpreender as pessoas não só com o assunto e a imagem, mas também com o meio. Quando jovem, gostei de ser um finalizador profissional de drywall por vários anos. Esse processo mais tarde inspirou meu desejo de criar arte de papel texturizada e esculpida.
Toda a minha obra de arte é inspirada no ambiente natural que me esforço para proteger e preservar no meu cotidiano, bem como na minha arte. É representativo e frequentemente surreal no design. Muitas vezes vejo imagens escondidas em árvores e paisagens que me deleita em trazer em papel, tela, madeira e escultura de papel.
O trabalho acabado fala de como nós, como pessoas, buscamos nos conectar não só com a natureza e a arte, mas também aquele lugar profundo dentro de nós que anseia inspirar e transformar em uma versão maior de nós mesmos e do mundo ao nosso redor.
Tornou-se uma aventura tão divertida e única criar arte de parede de papel texturizado que ocasionalmente crio máscaras de arte vestíveis, espelhos decorativos e agora joias incríveis, únicas e leves que podem parecer cerâmica, metal, pedra e às vezes vidro.

I like to say I grew up in " the wilds of Florida ".
As a latch key kid, I was unsupervised much of the time and played outside under and in the trees as often as possible. Nature and the woods have always been my inspiration.
My family supplied me with opportunities to create all kinds of art with lots of mediums. Therefore, I was not constrained by conventional rules and formulas. I love to find new ways to do things and re-use every day materials with surprising outcomes.
I am primarily a self taught mixed media artist that paints two dimensional wall art as well as textured and sculpted paper art often made from papers I recycle myself, including junk-mail. I like to surprise people with not only the subject and image but also the medium. As a young adult I enjoyed being a professional drywall finisher for several years. That process later inspired my desire to create textured and sculpted paper art.
All of my art work is inspired by the natural environment which I strive to protect and preserve in my daily life as well as in my art. It is representational and frequently surreal in design. I often see hidden images in trees and landscapes that I delight in bringing forth on paper, canvas, wood and paper sculpture.
The finished work speaks to how we as people seek to connect with not only nature and art, but also that deep place within us that yearns to inspire and transform to greater version of ourselves and the world around us.
It has become such a fun and unique adventure to create textured paper wall art that I occasionally create wearable art masks, decorative mirrors and now incredible, unique, lightweight jewelry that can either look like ceramic, metal, stone and sometimes glass.
