A Passion for Paper

Hello! My name is Manuela and I make paper botanicals from my home studio located in Bucharest, Romania. I design and assemble the flowers and leaves myself using very thin paper strips and special handmade paper.

I am a self taught quilling artist and I've been rolling paper strips ever since 2011. I started by using the basic techniques and eventually developed my own to create dense flowers with delicate petals. The botanical world serves as my inspiration and my main work consists of flower compositions mounted on panels which can be framed and displayed as wall décor or placed on a desk or on shelves.

If you have any special requests, I would be more than happy to accommodate them, so don't hesitate to send me a message and we'll take it from there. :)

All my items are originally designed and handmade by me from paper strips using a technique called paper quilling or paper filigree. A lot of time, passion and patience go into every piece I create.

Please read the following policies carefully and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I am happy to help!

Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale

Returns and exchange details
If your item arrived damaged, I will refund your money after the item has been returned back to me. The cost for shipping will not be refunded.
Buyers are responsible for returning the item in its original condition, as well as return shipping costs.

If an addressee does not pick up a package and the order is shipped back to me, the buyer covers repeat shipping costs.
Shipping
* Processing time *
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.

* Method of shipping *
I ship via Romanian Post using priority registered mail and provide a tracking number for each parcel.

* Estimated shipping times *
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them.
Transit times may take longer than the periods mentioned below, especially before Christmas and Easter. These possible delays are beyond my control.
Please note that I ship from Romania and depending on your location, you must allow enough time for delivery - a minimum of 5 business days for Europe and up to 30 business days for the rest of the world.
Europe: 5-7 business days;
USA and Canada: 10-20 business days;
Australia and New Zealand: 10-25 business days;
Rest of the world: 15-30 business days or more.

* Expedite shipping *
Expedite shipping is available via EMS (Express Mail Service). Estimated shipping times:
Europe: 3-4 business days;
USA and Canada: 7-10 business days;
Rest of the world: 9-14 business days or more.
Please send me a message so I can calculate the fee for the expedite shipping.

* Customs and import taxes *
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays or items destroyed by customs officials, please be aware of your country's import regulations.


Once your parcel has been shipped, I will send you a notification to the email address that you used to sign up to Etsy. Make sure that you provide the correct delivery address!
Additional policies and FAQs
I accept custom orders. If you haven’t found anything to your liking, I will be happy to create an item just for you, either a complete new design or a variation of the ones already posted on my Etsy shop or on my blog (http://manuk.ro). The time needed to complete an order depends on my current workload and on the complexity of each design, ranging from a minimum of 3-5 days, up to 3 weeks.
