What is PaperWireStone?
I often have a hard time describing my art. The adjective most often used by others is "whimsical". I create small sculptures, nightlights, and mobiles using origami, intricately bent wire, and objects found during my walks around my home state of Maine. I love to take items found in nature and create works of art that follow forms found in nature. Clam shells become the wings of butterflies, sand dollars and snails become jellyfish, and all sorts of items become flowers and trees.

Some of my work contains sand art that makes it difficult to ship. Many of these are bouquets of origami flowers on wire stems with wire leaves sprouting from a vase filled with sand art.
