This is the view from our little mountain house in Greece.

Hello,
My name is Eleftheria, I grew up in Argos, Greece before immigrating to the States. Our house in the mountains has a beautiful olive grove. We are fortunate enough to be able to ship olive oil to the States to cover our culinary needs plus enough to make a few bars of our special soap. My Dad taught me the art of soap making . For him it was something that happened once a year when the harvest came in , but for me it grew into something more. It was a lot of fun for my dad and I to share, then it grew to making soap for the entire family and venturing out from his classic olive oil (Castile) bar.

I taught my daughters , Elizabeth and Emily how to make soap as well. It quickly became a thing they loved, and something that we could do together. We enjoy experimenting with new recipes, natural colorants, and essential oils.

We started making soaps for so many people, and they always asked how they could get more and where is our Etsy shop. We finally decided to spread our wings after having success with our bars at a few crafts shows.

Our shop, Pappou’s Soap, is named after my Dad who got it all started. Pappou is the Greek word for Grandfather.

We hope that you enjoy using our bars as much as we enjoy making them. Feel free to contact us with any questions or requests.
