My history or roots in photography has been in black and white. My schooling at Brooks institute was B&W film. I always had a darkroom wherever i resided and always processed the film and hand made the prints. I now mainly use digital images and digital printing to get the best results. Yes i use photoshop to dodge and burn adjust contrast etc. just like in the darkroom but with more control. I think the prints are better now than before and with the wide range of paper types i can use a paper or texture to fit the mood of the image. I want quality not quantity so i do my own printing and framing. All the images in my shop are double matted ready for framing in common frame sizes and are made using archival standards.
