I want to give out crayon rolls as a favor at my son's birthday party in May. I ordered one as a trial from this shop to show my husband so we can discuss during our party planning. I ordered in February. And the transaction seemed promising. But, my item took 6 weeks to arrive (ordered feb 19 - arrived apr 1 and seller estimates 12 day turnaround time), during which time the seller ignored two of my emails. After a month of silence, she did seem apologetic. The item is here now, it's cute, my son likes it. But, we will be purchasing favors for his party from another store. I do not trust that this store will complete my order in a timely manner, or communicate through the process. I'm leaving neutral feedback because the item is good.

About

Welcome to my store

I couldn't do without the internet, facebook, or Pinterst. I wouldn't have a business on Etsy without technology and I love the idea of old meeting new, keeping the past alive, and reusing and remaking anything I can.

I am working to make our store a zero waste store. I use even the smallest piece of our eco friendly felt to make finger puppets and other small items, I use leftover pieces of fabric to make small crayon rolls to sell at a lower price.

Have you ever seen the TV show "little house on the prairie" One of my favorites from this series is "Christmas on Plum Creek" I know some of you haven't heard of the show, its about a family on the prairie in the 1800's. There is a huge rain storm and the small girls are afraid that Santa will not be able to cross the river. Mr. Edwards a family friend shows up at the front door wet and shivering from crossing the freezing flooding river with a paper package tied with twine saying that he ran into Santa in town and promised to deliver the presents, The girls are so excited to get a metal drinking cup, a candy stick, a small cake, and a shiny penny, Mom is overwhelmed and brought to tears when he hands her another paper package tied with twine and inside is 9 sweet potatoes.

I have named my store "IN BROWN PAPER" my items are made referencing the days when simple items made everyone so happy. Our items are made of felt and fabric and are made to last forever, no batteries needed. I use 2014 technology to make wonderful fun learning items that will last for generations.

Please visit my new store which has lots of Eco-friendly felt games, puzzles, and play foood
