Mia nonna era una sarta. Mia madre era un'artigiana. Fin da piccola ero seduta alla macchina da cucire o tenevo ago e filo in mano.
La creatività di mia madre ha alimentato la mia, insegnandomi a creare un modello per ciò di cui avevo bisogno quando non riuscivo a trovare nulla in commercio. E dopo la sua scomparsa, ho preso in mano il suo sogno di fare quilt. Mia madre disegnava sempre modelli di quilt, collezionava stoffe e sfogliava libri di quilt, ma non trovava mai il tempo di completarne uno. Ho completato il mio primo quilt nell'autunno del 2014 e l'ho iscritto alla fiera statale della Carolina del Nord. Facile dire che ero completamente conquistata.
Negli ultimi anni ho realizzato molte trapunte per gli amici e ho voluto ampliare il mio hobby e nel 2024 ho ufficialmente aperto il mio negozio di trapunte online.

My grandmother was a seamstress. My mother was a crafter. From a young age I was sitting at a sewing machine or had needle and thread in hand.
My mother's creativity fueled my own, teaching me to create a pattern for what I needed when I couldn't find something commercially. And after she passed away, I took on her dream of quilting. My mother was always sketching quilt patterns, collecting fabric and flipping through quilt books, but never quite found the time to complete one. I completed my first quilt in the fall of 2014 and entered it into the NC State fair. Easy to say I was hooked.
In the past few years I have completed many quilts for friends and wanted to expand my hobby and in 2024, I officially opened my online quilt shop.
