About

I have too much stuff!

I actually came here after a year selling mostly vintage items on Ebay. Before and during that period I also sold hand-bound copies of my original novella series, Death by Dawn. The first one was completed in 2004, and I've been doing online sales since then.
Before that I did in-person sales and commissions of my paintings and custom cosplay costumes while attending college.
So Etsy is different in that I'm able to offer a greater variety of the things I make without hounding my friend Sinned to change my HTML to display each unique item on my personal site.
I'm constantly in the process of creating art, so offering it for sale keeps my house from filling up.
It's also providing much-needed extra income while I toil at my part-time day job.
I don't have a clearly defined studio space; I tend to work in whichever room suits my fancy at the moment and leave a comet trail of supplies in my wake.
Soap gets made in the kitchen and quilts get pinned flat on the floor. That's the way of the PatchworkLaboratory.

We were all put on this planet for a purpose.
I personally was born to create constantly like a mad God until the day I fall over dead.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
I take Paypal. Keeps things simple.
So please don't checkout with anything from my site if you don't intend to pay. It just wastes everyone's time.
Shipping
Shipping default for small items will be either parcel post or first class, whatever is more economical. For larger things I'll use use priority flat rate boxes if the shape of the item fits the box well, and parcel post if it does not. Larger orders with multiple items will also go Priority Mail whenever possible. [Size is always a factor.]
My labels are printed from Paypal and I ship directly from my house. Orders received early in the morning will ship out the same day, or the next day if the mailman has already been and gone.
For my security and yours; I will only ship to the address on your Paypal account. So please check it for accuracy before placing orders.

I have a lot of odd-sized items for sale and it's very difficult to estimate shipping for multiple items. So if you buy several things and it's above what's needed I'll refund the difference. Consider the 'shipping with other items price' a highest cost estimate on larger items.

I don't ship international, sorry.
Refunds and Exchanges
I've heard some real horror stories about the feedback system around here, and how disputes are handled. So, all sales are final. Nothing more, nothing less.

BUT - in the unlikely event that something gets broken in shipping, you can send me a photo of the ruined item and packaging and I'll give you a refund.
I'll also refund if the item is just lost in transit and never arrives. [After a reasonable amount of time has passed.] Please note me with any purchases if you live somewhere that your mail may be stolen, so I can include a signature confirmation with large packages.

I try to describe my items as accurately as possible, but if you have a question or concern about an items details, contact me [ideally before buying] and I'll tell you anything you want to know.
I'm often gone during the day but I will respond to messages before I leave and as soon as I get home.
Additional policies and FAQs
I try to recycle/reuse whenever possible, so packing fill may be catalog pages/packing peanuts. I will also reuse Amazon and other boxes for parcel post if they're clean and undamaged.
I may not have the prettiest packaging, but my main concern is getting your item to you safely and intact. I feel that's more important.

Custom orders with require a non-refundable payment of the full cost up-front. Photos and convos will be provided throughout the process to make sure you'll be satisfied with the end result.
