About

We believe your home or work space should be a place of daily inspiration.

An artist and animal-lover, Patricia Li began selling her popular Clever Animals dictionary art prints here on Etsy in 2012. Initially working out of a spare room in her Chicago home, Patrician Prints quickly grew from a side project to a full time endeavor.

Our focus is contemporary digital collage and iconic imagery, always unique and distinct, with a dash of humor. We believe your home or work space should be a place of daily inspiration and offer affordable artwork to make that happen. We're a bit details obsessed and strive for perfection, so each product, down to its packaging, reflects our core values of providing the best quality and service.

Patrician Prints has been featured on Mashable, Cupcakes and Cashmere, OC Weekly, and televised on WFSB Channel 3. Clients include: Charles Shultz Museum, Bausch + Lomb, and our Bob Dylan art print is displayed in his hometown, at the Loews Minneapolis Hotel.

Patricia and her husband Rob are an artist-couple happily settled in the coastal town of Old Lyme, Connecticut.

Thanks for being here and visit us often!

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

Can I request a dictionary page with specific words on it? — Sorry, we cannot customize the background page. There are thousands of book pages to sort through (many out of alphabetical order) and it takes considerable time to find just the right one. We always strive for interesting, fun word/ image association!

Can you change the color of something? — It depends on the design. Let us know what you have in mind!

Does this include a matte or frame?

We do not offer framing services. All of our prints are standard sizes and easy to find frames in an array of colors and styles at most home goods & art/ craft stores (IKEA, Target, Micheal's, Blick, etc).

Wholesale availability

Wholesale orders are welcomed. We are happy to set up a custom listing for you. Convo us for details.

Are the prints archival?

Of course! Our prints are created in our smoke-free/ pet-free studio on a professional printer using archival 100% pigment inks (the very best!) on high quality archival Epson Matte paper. Unlike cheap dye inks in common deskjet or laser printers which fade and bleed, pigment inks are museum quality and tested to last a lifetime.
