5 out of 5 starsThis cotton nightgown was the best deal of this year! It was really cotton, in really good shape for a really nice price and almost too pretty to cut up. But then again, this is a dress now to be worn in real life to be seen by more people then when it was still just a cute nighty. It’s the top half only and still needs buttons, the bottom half is in a dress not finished yet. Fast shipping too!!!

5 out of 5 starsI’m always looking for antique pieces to cut up, resew and dye over - not as easy as it sounds. The fabric has to be sturdy or all the work I put in is for nothing and the price needs to be somewhat low so that after I add my hours of fun/labor to it, the dress is still reasonable for women without a trust fund. When I find something that hits all requirements, I’m very happy and I go back to that vendor forever. This is what I made out of this 100 plus year old nightgown

4 out of 5 starsNice vintage jacket! Still in great shape, a little musty smelling but any Dry Cleaner can take that out. Sadly, I had to return it because it was too big for my skinny son, even with alterations.

Tools of the trade are used to carefully examine pieces as well as make minor repairs and take careful measurements. -
Research is vital to providing accurate information. Education, a large reference library and the internet are all used -
Each piece is assigned an inventory number to help insure you have the exact item ordered. Many pieces are also bagged. -
Pieces are stored to keep them readily available as well as safe from harm. -
Garments are stored hanging on a series of rolling racks. All inventory is kept in a climate controlled area.
