For Women's Garments, consider both A) your High Bust Measurement and B) that a pattern one bust size up or down is likely adjustable to your size without a complete re-sizing of the pattern.

I carry Vintage Sewing Patterns, primarily, and hope to add Vintage Sewing Notions (buttons, tools, etc). In addition to Original Vintage Sewing Patterns hailing from the 20s & 30s through the 70s & 80s for Women, Misses, Men, Children, Toddlers, and Babies, I also stock select patterns for Maternity, Costumes, Home Decor, Stuffed Animals, Aprons, Hats, and whatever other Vintage Sewing Patterns of some uniqueness that I find of interest. I also carry some non-vintage patterns. Pattern Books and Magazines for Sewing, Knitting, Crochet, Crafts, and Toys, as well as Vintage Cookbooks and Vintage "How-To" Books, are also featured here, and most if not all are "Pattern" focused.
I have another shop on Etsy, akashaOnline at akashaOnline.etsy.com, where you will find my Handcrafted Earrings made with Vintage Glass and Crystal, Freshwater Pearls, Semi-Precious Stones, New Crystal and Glass, and solid 0.925 Sterling Silver Findings. All Earrings are packaged with Real Pressed Flowers, which I grow. Please take a peak over there, too; I've been in that business for 15+ years now.

A Fancy for Sewing, Fabric, & Vintage
I've inherited a love of sewing, fabric, vintage, and gardening from my mom and both of my grandmothers, and these things bring me much happiness. Right now I'm wrapped up in preparing and making things for baby (my first on the way, in time for Christmas!). I also enjoy quilting and sewing for the wee-ones, and I always have a number of projects in the hopper for family and friends. Recent finished projects include a bias cut, A-line skirt made with batik fabric for my niece, which we worked on together, and my most ambitious project so far, a free-style, artistic, queen-sized quilt for my mom and dad's anniversary.
My mom taught me how to sew, and she continued to learn from her mom throughout my grandma's life (both seamstresses and tailors). I continue to learn from her, books and the internet, my local quilt shop, and...sewing! I really want to learn more about garment making from my mom--She has a real talent for it.
I started this vintage pattern shop on Etsy in 2012, and I'm learning more and more about fashions from the past as I go. I think my favorite era is the early to mid 1930s (Poirot Era), but I can't resist pouring over patterns through both the Swing and New Look Eras (late 30s to early 50s).

Returns and exchanges
If there is a problem with an order, please contact me, so that we may work something out. And please inquire about an item prior to making a purchase if you have a question! I put a good deal of effort into checking patterns to ensure that all the pieces and directions are included and also of accurately describing items and their condition. Most of the patterns listed in this shop are vintage, so I also try to be consistent about describing the condition of the pattern tissue and the envelopes. If there is an error or a problem, I will do what I can to make the transaction right by you.
✂ Cut/Used Patterns
Some patterns listed in my shop have been cut/used. Any major flaws, or missing pieces or directions, will be noted under the "Details" for the listing.

✂ Upgrade to Priority Mail for Multiple Patterns
If you choose to upgrade to USPS Priority Mail for shipping to U.S. destinations, the maximum that I charge is $5.55. Priority Mail for shipping to International Destinations is $25 maximum. However, I will have to refund you the difference for purchases of >1 pattern, as I'm unable to find a way to charge a different rate for additional items under standard shipping and a flat rate for the upgrade to priority shipping. I apologize for this. Etsy is working on a shipping framework that will allow this in the future.

✂ Domestic Shipping for Patterns
Most Pattern Orders will be shipped in a 100% recycled, and reusable, plastic mailer via US Postal Service First Class Mail after payment is received in full. (Regular sized McCall's Patterns will ship in a light paperboard mailer until I run out of my supply.) I stamp "Do Not Bend" on the package, and the regular sized patterns will fit nicely in regular sized mailboxes and post boxes. If you have experienced problems with your postal carrier cramming your box full, and folding up your patterns, please contact me, and I will put some extra support around your pattern or ship it in a paperboard mailer (this may cost a stitch more in shipping).
Patterns valued at $40 or greater will ship in a Priority Mail paperboard mailer via US Postal Service Priority Mail, with Insurance.
Please be aware that once your item(s) are shipped it usually takes 2-11 business days for your item(s) to reach you within the United States. And from time to time, mail service may be slower.

✂ International Shipping for Patterns
Thus far, I have shipped a number of times to Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the UK, and items usually arrive in about 2 weeks, from Ship Date (see above!). To Canada and the UK, packages have arrived in as little as 6-7 business days once I put them in the mail. (I've also shipped to Greece, the Netherlands, and Singapore.) Items will be shipped via US Postal Service International First Class Mail after payment is received in full. Please be aware of the mailing restrictions within your own country.
***Any Duties or Customs Fees on International Orders are the sole responsibility of the buyer.***

I've set up Media Mail shipping for Books. You may upgrade to Priority Mail at check out, if you'd prefer your book to arrive more quickly. (This is a new option, so if you have any questions or issues, please contact me.)
Books shipping internationally will ship First Class Mail.
