Patterns Patterns Everywhere

I collect and I craft. I have been collecting sewing patterns for a few years and have to admit to you that I will never get around to making everything that I would like to.

My sewing collections include sewing patterns both modern and vintage as well as pattern drafting books and pattern drafting or making systems such as Lutterloh and Enid Gilchrist.

My sewing machine is an "old" Janome Memory Craft 5700. One day I would like to upgrade to a machine with a usb port and perhaps even internet connectivity. One day!

So my journey continues and this shop will evolve over time. Currently I have to walk sideways through my pattern and fabric stash, I would like it to find new homes! As time goes on I would like to include more of my own creations.

Pattern search

Are you looking for a specific sewing pattern or sewing related publication?

I can look through my collection, and if I have what you need we can create a custom order (private listing) for you.

Anyway, it may be worth a try.

I have quite a few pattern drafting/pattern making books, hundreds of sewing patterns, lots of Enid Gilchrist magazines, and well I might just have what you are looking for.

Naturally postage will vary with the item but I will sort that out and put that in your custom order. It will be up to you if you click buy or not once the item is listed.

Returns and exchanges
Please be careful with your choices and expectations. The patterns listed are not always in mint condition, they often have signs of age or storage wear and tear. I have tried to clearly describe the condition of the patterns and pattern envelopes and offer no refund on the basis of their condition.
Crochet items - I have tried to accurately describe the size, fit, fibre content etc., please read the item description carefully and compare the measurements of the garment with something similar that your already own. Please get into contact with me if something goes really wrong.
I accept PayPal, Etsy gift cards and more.
Shipping by Australia Post.
Orders will be sent out within 2 working days (unless there are unforeseen circumstances).

If you are an international shopper buying multiple items please send me a message and we can work out packaging and posting. Any and all customs duties or taxes are the buyers responsibility.
Shipping times vary, experience has shown that shipping to Canada and France in particular tends to take longer than expected.
Additional policies and FAQs
The printables and instant downloads are my own creations. You can print them as often as you like, just please do not try to pass them off as your own work or sell them as if you created them (i.e. please acknowledge me - PatternHut)

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Crochet bikinis are best hand washed in cold or 20 degree Celsius water using wool wash or detergent formulated for delicates, roll in a towel to remove excess moisture, dry flat in shade. Do not iron.
Don't want to hand wash - put your crochet bikini in a lingerie wash bag and wash using a cool (20 degree Celsius) or cold temperature on the wool wash or delicates setting using wool wash or delicates detergent.

Sizing details

Will it fit me?

I have included garment measurements on most items (if I haven't just send me a message). You should compare the measurements to something you already own. Crochet items will stretch a little with wear and mould to your body. If they get too big it is definitely time to wash them in cold/cool water (see care instructions) and they will fit better again.

Most patterns are shipped using letter post - no tracking, this keeps costs down, however if something goes wrong there is no way to locate this type of mail.

If you would like tracking (and it is advisable for more costly items) please let me know and I will check with the post office for an accurate cost.
