Jewels as objects and bodies that one day will be archaeological remains of current material culture

I'm Venezuelan. Sixteen 16 years ago I moved to Buenos Aires (Argentina), my first daughter was born and I started my Contemporary Jewelry Brand, all at the same time.
My methodology for designing comes from bioarchaeology, my materials and my color palette refer to the places where I grew up.
Architecture, abstraction and synthesis are part of my language. I remove everything unnecessary from the piece, leaving only the mínimum needed to open a dialogue. When I get this objects -my pieces- materialized, I imagine myself extremely small, walking into this objects as if it were an architectural space, a world made of colors and shapes... the world as I see it.

I am concerned about sustainability, so I think, design and elaborate lasting products from their materiality (quality) and from their aesthetics (independence of fashion and trends), with the aim of extending their useful life to the maximum.
From the productive processes, I look up to the optimization of the raw material, reducing waste and taking care of the leftovers for reuse in the elaboration of unique pieces. This is where my archaeologist background takes place... I find remains, discarded fragments of my own processes and I rebuild them into new jewels.

For the past 16 years, my brand has been seen in the most important galleries, stores and design events of the local scene, and all of my products have received the Official Argentine Good Design Hallmark (Sello Buen Diseño), an endorsement of the Argentine Ministry of Production that recognizes and rewards national products for standing out in terms of innovation and quality.
My products are sold in Museum Shops, Contemporary Jewelry Galleries and Concept Stores in Argentina, United States, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, France, Brazil, Switzerland, Luxembourg, among others. If you're interested in selling my products in your store, please get in touch!

Production partners

  • Laser cut service

    Buenos Aires, Argentina

I design and made the prototype of a new model by hand, and then I design the cut drawings of the pieces in AutoCad. These processes are done by me in my workshop. Cutting planes and raw material are sent to this company, which performs the laser cutting process.

  • Turning service

    Buenos Aires, Argentina

To cut and shape my raw material (aluminum) you need a cnc lathe and a lot of space: I work from pipes 6m in length !. This company cut and shape my raw material, following my indications to obtain the elements that I have designed for my products.
