About Pavona Interiors
We are a husband and wife team (more wife of course) from South Florida providing great handmade products at a huge value. The idea started in the summer of 2009 when I started a hobby of refinishing vintage furniture. After a few months of that my husband realized we had some skill at this and we actually started customizing existing pieces as well as a little re-upholstery. My father, who taught me all I know was soon on board helping us, which was great because he had all of the tools.
All the while my husband was working a dead end job and we soon realized that my "hobby" was actually providing pretty well for our soon to be family of four. So by the time my second son was born in Oct. 2013 we started tossing around the idea that we could actually turn this into a business. At this point we had so much interest, that in order for me to keep up, my husband decided it was time to leave his job and come and help me full time.
So here we are, a few months later and things couldn't be better. We are extremely happy doing this together. We are also very pleased with the positive response to our products. It keeps us incredibly humble and we know we have made the right decision. This is just the beginning for us as we have much more in store for our customers. Please take the time to read all of our policies and FAQ'S thoroughly since you will be agreeing to them all once you purchase. And do keep in mind that we are a small business with a strong passion for what we do and we strive to make the very best products we can make. Thank you for your business and understanding.
Shipping for cork boards is via Fedex Ground. We insure up to $99 for each order. Please consider purchasing additional insure on your order.
In the event your item is lost or damaged during transit, we cannot offer returns. but we will make you a replacement board once a claim has been filed.
In the rare event you have a damaged item, you must photograph the box, damaged portions, and send them to us via Etsy messaging within 2 days of delivery.
Returns and Exchanges
We are a made to order shop so all of our items are custom made for you! Because of the nature of custom pieces, we cannot offer returns or exchanges.
We accept Paypal, or Cash for local pickups. All orders placed in the state of Florida will be subject to a sales tax.
For custom fabric choices, we will use anything you chose unless it will harm the integrity of the product; and please note it will be your responsibility to order a sample for yourself in order to ensure you are happy with your selection. We highly recommend you do this since pictures can be misleading, however if you decide to purchase a sample know that we will not get started on your order until you have approved of your choice and given us the final ok. -Please be aware that slight variations can arise in all aspects of custom made pieces. Whether it be slight grain showing through paint or differences in color shade of fabrics.
We love to do custom furniture pieces, but please contact us prior to purchasing any furniture items to make sure we have enough space for your order on our waiting list! Our production times vary from piece to piece.
We use Greyhound Shipping to your local station for pick up. Door to door, and white glove delivery are extra. But please note white glove delivery can extend the transit time considerably.
In the rare event that damage to your order did occur in transit please inform us IMMEDIATELY, it could be an easy fix that we can handle together. Please note however this does not mean we will accept refunds or exchanges on damaged merchandise. All we can do is give advice on how you can file a claim, or if possible repair.
