Making Your Dog Stand Out of the Pack!

The Paw Tribe is an ethical dog accessories brand that creates head-turning & distinct goods to highlight your dog's personality and home.

We believe in making every moment special with our dogs, which is why we've created eye-catching goods that help you create fur-ever memories.

While living in East Africa, we discovered beautiful handcrafts and quality leather (that's being exported to Italy to make bags) that evoke exquisiteness, style, pride, and happiness. Having a hard time finding anything truly "special" in the U.S. for our dog, we knew immediately that creating handmade collars that paid homage to traditional craftsmanship while creating sustainable economic opportunities for at-risk women was a win-win.

We believe that shopping consciously doesn't just extend to humans. Dogs can and should have the opportunity to make a difference too! After all, a well-loved dog = happy dog = healthy dog. 10% of our proceeds are donated to animal rescue organizations in the US and to wildlife conservation efforts in Kenya.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

We recommend a little leather conditioning if your dog wears their leather collar for a swim or in heavy rain. This will ensure that your collar is long-lasting. Specific information on care for leather products is provided on our “Care” page at www.thepawtribe.com.

How sturdy are the beads on the beaded collars and leashes?

Very! Our beaded dog collars have been worn surfing, in the lake, out hiking, at dog parks, dog day cares, etc. -- you get the gist! Our beaded leashes have been dragged through the mud and used in rain showers and customers have complimented us in how well they hold up. The beaded collars and leashes can last for years if properly taken care of.

Our beaded collars and leashes are stitched tightly into the leather using an age-old beading technique from the Masai communities in East Africa. Once the beading is complete, another piece of leather is molded onto the back to cover the stitch work to create the final product.
