Beautiful little sapphire-blue dragon. He fits in well alongside my other like-sized dragons. Shipped quickly and packaged with care, plus a complimentary bookmark. Thank you, Kristina. I'll have to order a friend for him at some point. :3

A love for animals and art lead to a bear and much more.
Hello, I love animals and art. As a child I tried out pretty much every type of art and craft possible. It was my desire to bring my sketches and photos to 3D life that led to my first bear. Soft sculpture gave me the poseablity that clay couldn't, and was a lot more huggable.
I enjoy using a variety of materials when creating my work. Most of the work is done by hand, though I will use my sewing machine on some of the larger pieces. All of the pieces are one of a kind or very small limited editions so that they stay fresh and I can work on the next idea in my head begging to be brought to life. My creations all have a story to tell about themselves which I include on their handtags, usually as a short poem. These fun tidbits help you learn a little about their personality and the inspiration behind their creation.
Past accomplishments include having some of my bears included in articles by Teddy Bear Review and Teddy Bear & Friends magazines. In 1999, my polar bear Iggy, was nominated for a TOBY award.
My pieces are created in a smoke-free, pet friendly home. I try to do my part to be green as much as possible. This includes recycling boxes from my day job for shipping as much as possible and using unbleached tissue paper made for recycled paper for packing.
