Shop policies

Last updated on July 18, 2014
We strive to use only recycled materials to create beautiful new upcycled heirloom quality products. No time is skimped when making one of our handmade treasures. “We” are a Granddaughter and Oma (Grandmother) duo.

PeaceNik Wear was coined from a long time nick-name that Papa, a WWII veteran, called a certain little girl (Oma) during the Vietnam War Era. “Peacenik” is a name used for one who prefers peace.

The peace symbol was introduced by Lord Bertrand Russell in 1958 when he was campaigning for nuclear disarmament in England.
