Life without creation is an empty place.

I've always loved making things. I was born in a tiny town on the NW coast of Alaska and I remember watching my mom making all kinds of clothes, macrame', jewelry, and other things that we just couldn't buy where we were.

I've always been an explorer and have taken dozens of road trips around the country. I Especially love finding random little museums, shops, workshops, and galleries that show the amazing variety of things that people can create. Human creativity is a beautiful thing.

My desire to make clothing and dreads really started after my first trip to Burning Man in 2011. There are no words that can truly describe what an amazing place and event it is, and one of the many things I loved was the variety of beautiful and creative costumes and clothing I saw there. I decided that I would start making my own outfits to wear to the desert, and then I thought "Well heck, I should see if anyone else likes my work". So here I am!

I'm an artist, burner, archaeologist, and chronic depressive who grew up in the boonies of Alaska, and have always had a love of road trips, exploring, and creating weird and wonderful art. For me art isn't just a hobby, it's a need, it's therapy.
