I love working with high-quality yarns (rarely over 10% acrylic if the yarn is a blend). Almost all of the yarns I work with are from indie-dyers who are highly skilled in dying amazing colorways! Each entry will have details on the fiber content and any interesting details about the dyer that I might know.

Some of the yarns I use are machine washable, but I really do suggest hand-washing all handknits. It is not unusual to see a small amount of dye bleed when using hand-dyed yarns. I wash all items before they are shipped and do my best to ensure that you will not experience very much, if any, dye bleed.

Another passion I have is spinning raw fiber into yarn. I source my fleeces from festivals (quite often Maryland Sheep and Wool) and any processed fiber I use is from high-quality dyers.
