Handcrafted aromatics I create from plants grown here at Pedricks. I weave lavender wands in 30 colors and 4 sizes and I was able to make 2300 this summer of 2016! Only summer blooming long stemmed English lavender, can be used to make lavender wands. These can only be made during a short 2-3 month period of time each year. Too soon and the flowers are too moist, too late and the stems will break instead of bend. Orders for large numbers of one color for events taking place prior to summer, or after summer, need to be placed either while the wands can be made or before the June to August season. I sure wish I could make them year round!!
The wands themselves last for many years. I have seen photos of a wand over 40 years old with the caption that it still smelled wonderful!

Shipping: I only use USPS Priority Mail boxes, so you always receive a tracking number.

I am happy to fill wholesale orders. And I have a Wholesale category. Write me if you need a special order.

Have you ever smelled Lemon Verbena? Someone said it smells like lemon-aid. Like sweet lemons. I grow Lemon Verbena and make it into sachets. I have even begun to start making it into Lemon Verbena wands. Lavender sachets are in abundance, so I hope you will consider trying something different! I have a Lemon Verbena category with items for you to try.
Thank-you!

They are beautiful and smell amazing. Wish I had bought some for myself. Shipping was super fast, too.

They arrived fast and smell great (my dog can't stop sniffing around it)! Got them for my MIL but I'm glad I got the 10 pack because a few are staying with me.

About

Pedricks - The Present and The Potential Future

Pedricks began when I discovered I could weave my long stemmed English lavender into wands instead of just harvesting the flowers and drying them for sachets.
Lavender falls off of it's stems when they begin to get dry and the ladies of the Victorian age created this unique means of preserving the lavender from their gardens so it could be used for many years to scent their clothing or any room they were in.
I have seen a photo of a lavender wand that was 40 years old, with the caption that it still smelled wonderful.
Since only long stemmed English lavender can be used to make these wands, I cannot begin making them until each summers crop is mature enough, and then I have to stop once the stems are no longer supple enough to bend and the flowers begin to fall off of the stems when they are cut.

In the future, I hope to be able to spend more time drawing, painting, and creating ceramics. I love ceramics and have been able to create enough to start a new store here on Etsy called CatDancingArtStudio!
https://www.etsy.com/shop/CatDancingArtStudio
I hope you will take a moment to visit it!

I will also be adding some new creations from my garden. Have you ever smelled Lemon Verbena? Someone described it as smelling like Lemonade, and it does! And I have begun making them into sachets. Lavender sachets are abundant, no one else make Lemon Verbena sachets. I also grow a variety of perennial flowers and will be adding them over time. For now, I have the Queens Tears shoot, but soon there will be much more.
Check back once in a while to see what else might be new here!

I have always loved working with my hands to create. From drawing and painting, to knitting and embroidery. When I first began to weave my lavender into wands in the Victorian way, it was as if my hands already knew how to do this. It is a joy!
