About

Hooking Up Love Into Everything I Crochet...

Hi there! I'm so glad you stopped by today. I'm Peggy Nolan, also known as the twisted crocheter. My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was 7. I vaguely remember crocheting as a teenager and didn't really get into the craft until I was pregnant with my oldest child back in 1983. I still have the baby blankets I made for her and my youngest daughter.

My long time specialty is baby blankets. I've made blankets for all my nieces and nephews, my grand babies, friends who've had babies, friends of friends, etc...Off and on, I've made hats and scarves and sweaters, too.

It was a few years ago that I started selling what I crochet. Last year I made over 45 messy bun hats between Thanksgiving and Christmas...

What inspires me is the value of quality and caring. There's so much love that I hook into every hat, every scarf, every blanket, and every cardigan I make. When you wear or wrap yourself in something made by me, you are wrapping yourself in love. And who doesn't want that?
