Staying close to Mexico when far away

Everything started with one Huichol Bracelet that I bought in Mexico 7 years ago. It was beautiful and I loved it so much, but, it broke. I was really upset because, being so intricate, I never imagined being able to repair it. But, after some research and some trials I managed to do so. And so it started and I caught the bug, or as my husband says , I got stung by the bumblebead.

The more I researched this age-old beading tradition the more it helped me get closer to my own roots, despite the distance. I have Huichol heritage in my family and I feel a deep connection to this culture.

Also, living close to such a modern city as London means that many of my designs have a modern twist. My styles tend to evolve so when browsing my pieces you'll likely come across a range of traditional and modern designs.

I also really like working on custom pieces, so don't hesitate if you have a colour-scheme or specific design in mind.
