Note from shop owner Welcome to Pens Envy! I'm sorry to say that going back to school has put the kibosh on my turning. I may or may not be back in business after I graduate, depending on what happens in the future and whether I achieve my dream of becoming an intergalactic starship pilot.

About

Breaking News: PensEnvy Exists!

Contrary to the whimsicle creaminess that most Etsy shops display, PensEnvy's origin is quite boring. My father-in-law taught me how to turn wood on a lathe. I enjoyed it very much. The natural progression of learning to do things I enjoy led me to turning in my own shop. Though it wasn't so much as a "shop" back then as it was a "bedroom in a small, boxlike apartment."

During the course of my turning, I created many pens and other things. Then once my family and friends finally begged me to stop giving them turned items as holiday gifts, I decided to sell my creations. Now I make pens and other items, when I'm not talking to inanimate objects. I have a bigger shop now, which isn't so much a "shop" as it is "a cluttered, sawdust-covered garage I share with others because having a lathe shop in a bedroom is a terrible idea."

Also: coleslaw.
