The ring is very nice, detailed and shiny! It also arrived earlier than expected. The communication between the seller was a bit slow but other than that they were excellent. Definitely order ahead if you need it in certain time frame!

The attention to detail is very nice but the ring was much smaller than expected. I ordered a size 11 but what came was smaller than a size 10.5 ring I already had. It fits but not the finger I hoped to wear it on. It also looks more like the silver than the stainless steel I ordered and there is a strange brown stain on my finger after wearing for an hour or so. I'm sure this can be cleaned or removed but it is still rather inconvenient.

After my fiancé proposed to me, I wanted to propose back and he loved this ring! Surprised and happy with the detail:):)
Art, my way.
I've always wanted to make things. As a child, I drew all the time, and wrote volumes of stories. I've tried painting, sculpting, carving, sketching, writing, music - and couldn't succeed at any of them. The mind was ready, and the spirit was willing, but the hands couldn't do anything with whatever medium they were given to work with. Frustrated, I assumed I would never be able to make things.
In Grade 11, one of my teachers - my computer graphics teacher, in fact - suggested I try 3D. He'd noticed I had an aptitude for computers, and when he heard me mention - just in passing - that I didn't think I'd ever be able to create art, he immediately made the connection I didn't. I owe him everything - I immediately discovered that I loved it, and wanted nothing other than to do it for the rest of my life.
Later, I discovered 3D printing, a process by which I could take the designs in my computer and literally print them out - building them up layer by layer - in a wide variety of materials. I immediately started printing everything I could, marvelling at the fact that something I'd designed in a computer - something that was nothing more than a collection of numbers in a big metal box - had somehow leapt from the realm of the digital and into my very hands.
I set up this shop because it seemed fitting to me that an education in 3D animation could be paid for, at least in part, by working with 3D - and not only has it proven successful, but it's gone even further than that and convinced me that this is what I really want to do - design, make, and sell jewelry. Here at Peregrine Studios, I sell the 3D art I've created, in the form of pendants, statuettes, rings, and other such things.
So thank you, in advance, everyone who purchases, or even considers purchasing - in doing so, you validate my art and my passion. You show me - and everyone else - that a medium exists out there for all of us. We just need to find it.
