This product takes a while to receive because the store personalizes it to your specifications. I have been looking forward to my set since I first joined the waiting list nearly four years ago. Absolutely worth the wait. You can easily see the attention to detail and the care they take in crafting each set.

This beautiful set of books was a gift for my clients, so I had them custom made with their logos and initials. PeskyCat did a gorgeous job and the custom elements came out flawlessly, as did the rich, smooth leather, exactly cut pages, and the decorative ribbons. Thanks so much! My clients were delighted :)
A bibliophile and a rather pesky cat teamed up.
...And by 'teamed up,' I mean 'he constantly steals my thread while I'm trying to work.'
In January of 2015, a dear friend of mine left for Germany for a year. As a parting gift, I made him a blank journal with a German flag on the cover for him to write his memories in. That sloppy, not so impressive (but well intentioned) gift started me on the path of bookbinding. Since then, I've fallen in love with the craft and haven't looked back since.
My grey tabby Loki is a constant pest while I'm trying to work, though. He demands on jumping in my lap, attacking my string, or sneaking bites of my leather hides. Once, he upturned my yarn basket and unraveled every single skein. He has a weird fascination with opening the cabinets and hiding in them until his sister walks by. Then he jumps out of them and attacks her like a furry assassin. I can never bring myself to stay mad at him despite his mischievous nature. So instead, I named the brand after him.
Dan has been around for forever and has recently been added as an artist and binder to our team.
I specialize in rebinding books into hardback leather covers that are both more protective and more aesthetically pleasing. Each book is bound by hand using contemporary binding techniques, and each cover is designed specifically for the story in question. If you would like to turn your favorite novel into something truly special, drop me a message. We'll work together to achieve your vision.
