Thanks for visiting my Etsy store! Please see my profile page for more about me.

You can use your credit or debit card through Etsy checkout or any Paypal option you choose. Please note that I'm required to add sales tax for Michigan residents, which will automatically calculate at checkout.

Your jewelry will ship gift boxed by First Class U.S. mail with Delivery Confirmation unless otherwise noted in the item listing. If you wish to upgrade to Priority Mail or Express Mail, please convo for an adjusted invoice, preferably before checking out.

All jewelry and packaging comes to you from a smoke-free, pet-free home studio.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that your country may charge taxes and import duties on your purchase, which is out of my hands and a buyer's responsibility. They are different for every country, and unfortunately it's impossible for me to know what those costs might be. There are some online calculators that might help you get an idea if you don't know your import fees: Here is one:

Refunds and Exchanges

Please contact me as soon as possible if you are not happy with your item(s) for any reason. A refund or exchange is cheerfully given within 10 days, less shipping. The item(s) must be returned in original condition. Please re-pack carefully to prevent damage - original packing materials can be reused, and please insure the item if you have any concern about it not reaching me, as I cannot be responsible for a return that is lost or damaged in the mail on its way back to me. I like U-Pic as a less expensive alternative to the USPS insurance fees, though if you decide to insure through U-Pic or another independent 3rd party company, please make sure your shipment meets their requirements for proof of mailing. I will say that to this point I've had no returns and happy customers, so hopefully I'm doing something right. ;)

Additional Policies and FAQs

Care and cleaning of your jewelry:

Please don't wear your jewelry in the shower, swimming, etc. It should stand up very well to normal wear, but treat with reasonable care, particularly the more delicate pieces. Sterling silver jewelry and jewelry made with antique metal beads and brass will store best in air-tight containers, away from moisture and humidity. Ziploc bags are not glamorous, but work very well for this. A polishing cloth pre-charged with a fine polishing compound can be used to buff the surface of silver and other metal, but gently on items that have a decorative "antiqued" patina, particularly in the recessed areas, and best to avoid the gemstones. For non-porous metal and stone jewelry (excluding leather and the antique steel beads), you can also wash with a mild soap and water to remove body oils, lotions, etc. that might dull their sparkle.

If you have a damage or breakage issue with your jewelry, I am an e-mail away. I will do repairs free of charge if your jewelry fails under normal wear (meaning you take reasonably good care of your jewelry and don't abuse it). For damage beyond normal wear (breakage from cute little grabbing baby fists, yanked to bits in a bar fight, left it on the train tracks, etc.), I will do my best to attempt repair if it's fixable, but depending on the extent of damage and missing parts, there would be fees for part replacement and labor in that case. For the record, I've only had to do one repair, and that was a leather necklace worn 24/7, including in the shower, which I don't recommend.

If you have an idea for something you’d like based on other jewelry you’ve seen in my shop, as in a variation on an existing design, please feel free to convo with questions, we may be able to make it happen!

Since I need as much work time in the studio as possible, I’m happy to devote up to 20-30 minutes free of charge toward discussing your design ideas through convos, e-mails, phone calls, photos, etc. with your initial inquiry so that we both get an idea whether your project is something I can create for you. (Typically this is more than sufficient.) Beyond that 30 minutes, should you decide to go ahead with your custom order, I do have to add an extra fee for design discussions, etc. to be included in the total balance for your finished jewelry.

Upon your approval of the design, I will begin your jewelry piece after pre-payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit, unless you’d like to purchase in full at that time. Because of the nature of the material I work with and frequent one-of-a-kind designs, it can sometimes be difficult to accurately calculate price until a piece is finished, so please allow for up to a 20% variation in cost. When your jewelry is complete and the balance is due in full, and assuming you haven't requested any changes since the original design discussion, there may be an additional charge up to 20%, or if the metal weight, materials cost and/or labor work out to less than expected, a partial refund of the initial estimated price. (I'm very honest about calculating my costs involved and don't over-charge.)

When the project is finished, I will send photos for final approval, but at this point any revisions are subject to an extra fee in materials and time. Please understand that deposits for custom orders are non-refundable, since I’ve committed hours of work and materials to making something specifically for you. It’s important to me that you love your jewelry, and I make every effort to solidify the design plan with you before beginning so that we have a good meeting of the minds on what you want for the final outcome. So far I’ve had great results and happy customers.

Regarding ring sizing:

Some, though not all, of my ring designs can be made to order in the size requested. Bands that are wider or narrower than the average ring-sizer (or wedding band) often fit differently. Larger/wider bands generally need to be sized up for comfort. Bands 5mm to 6.5mm generally fit 1/4 size smaller (tighter). A band 7-8mm fits about 1/2 size smaller, and in wide bands 9mm or larger, usually going up one full size will make for the most comfortable fit. Ring sizing can be a bit tricky for the jeweler, especially with wide bands, but I make every effort to get as close as possible. One thing to take into consideration is whether your fingers tend to swell with seasons or hormonal changes, and they may fit differently at different times.

I do wholesale and occasionally consign my jewelry. Please convo if you have a brick and mortar store and are interested in wholesale purchasing. I only consign locally at this time (SE Michigan).
