This is an absolutely beautiful knife rack, and such a great idea to make it magnetic on both sides. Unfortunately the magnet wasn't quite strong enough for my Shun chef knife, but Pete was really anxious to help us fix the problem. We jumped the gun and went with an in-drawer solution too soon to accept his alternative offer, but I am so impressed at his willingness to help us fix the issue and at the craftsmanship of this product, that I wanted to leave a great review anyway. FYI if you have Shun knives - send him a message in advance and ask him to send an extra metallic strip, that was his proposed solution for us and I am certain it would have worked beautifully. For traditional non heavy/D-shaped kitchen knifes, these will work perfectly and are an awesome solution to kitchen knife storage.

Beautiful wood! Pete went the extra mile and sent me metal plates to back the item since I'm hanging it on the wall and not the fridge. THANKS!

Really nice looking on my fridge with a few knives on it. Shipped and delivered real quick. Snappy strong magnets :)

About

Taking Non-Living Arizona Mesquites and other Native Woods, turing them into Beautiful, Eclectic, Functional works of art.

Petesgnarlymesquites is a small, independent father/son operation on the end of Wrong Mountain Road in Benson, Arizona. We are located about one mile north of Bazys old ranch now known as Lucky Pup Ranch. We use only non-living Southeastern Arizona Mesquite and native woods that we have cut from our property or from surrounding areas with permission from the property owners. Almost all of the pieces that we have created in the last year are actually made with Mesquite that was removed from Lucky Pup Ranch.
We do custom orders to the specifications of each individual request. From bathroom vanities to cat scratching trees to knife magnets to dining room tables.
