Sticks, strings, and an aversion to idle hands.

I knit all of the time, whenever I can.
A project is always in my purse so that I can knit on the bus, on the train, in a taxi, on an aeroplane, in a queue, at the movies... whenever opportunity strikes. With a busy toddler, every free moment is even more precious these days.

Doll-sized projects travel well and, in theory, take less time to complete. They provide a highly portable canvas for me to try out new stitches and techniques.

Rather than acquire a pile of doll clothes, I decided to make them available.

I get my knitting itch scratched and doll lovers can clothe their dolls. It also helps pay for the yarn.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

Shop policies

All items are handknit with great attention to scale and fit. Whenever possible, the knitting is seamless. Not only because I hate having to sew garments together but also to avoid the added bulk of seams.

The fibres used are chosen not only for their colour and handfeel but also for their scale. They are knit on tiny needles ranging in size from 2mm to 0.75mm in diameter. This allows for garments constructed with stitches scaled believably small and in proportion to the dolls who will wear them.

I am no longer accepting commissions but items may make a reappearance, with variations.

Everything in the shop is handknit in a smoke- and pet-free home. Please reference the Shop Policies for more details.
