I heart️ custom designs! I recently made this wig for a bride who had a violet Marie Antoinette themed wedding. Why not challenge me with a design for yourself? +1skin-tone-2

After watching a documentary about rainbow cotton candy in Japan, I rushed into the studio to make my own version. They don't taste as good, but so pretty!

Keeping it real! For those going for a more natural look from their synthetic dreads, crochet style provide a knotty alternative to its smooth textured cousin. Additionally, using mixed or ombré colors simulates natural fading.

Color Trend: Sea and Sand With Summer soon approaching, it's no surprise that most of the custom orders I've done recently have been a combination of ocean blues with blonde. This classic combo has been made popular by boho turquoise jewelry looks.

Be your OWN light show!sparkles I've finally found a way to do fiber optic dreads that I can be happy with. Each dread has nearly 100 LED powered optical fibers, making for a beautiful star field effect when lit.

Dread falls are perfect for those with a fear of commitment. (Or who have bosses who aren't cool enough to let them have dreadlocks...) You don't need a full set to make a great looking dread fall. In fact, half sets are plenty for a ponytail or bun!

Denim Hair on Demand! I use wig dye (Periwinkle Blue) to get these cool blue streaks. Having a 50/50 ratio gives you a faded denim look, while upping the blue will achieve something closer to "new jeans".

Want to see what your dream dreads will look like before you commit to a full set? Get some samples first! Dread makers know that purchasing a full set is a big decision, and most can't accept returns. So get a small set to "test drive" before you buy!

Making a Proper Rat's Nest Durable dreadlocks start with good ratting (back combing) technique. Dreads that are only fluffed, like the ones on the right, will soon fray after being sealed. Maximum ratted fiber density means less upkeep and resealing.

Don't be afraid to play with color! Although we are used to seeing "classic" color combination when it comes to hair, synth dreads give you the chance to experiment with something new. You'll be surprised at the striking combos of contrasting shades!

I love doing custom orders! This set of six 24" rainbow dreads was a challenge, but being able to bring somebody's dreadlock wishes to life is really satisfying. ^__^

Although it costs a little more than Yaki fiber, I prefer to use Silky or Wave fiber for my dreadlocks. It gives me more control over the final texture, and makes it easier to add bold steaks of color to my marbled dreads.

A close-up on texture... Smooth dreads are made by following up the ratting phase with heat sealing for a more even diameter, while crochet dreads are knotted into themselves to achieve the lumpy look.

I have seen sellers mistakenly listing transitional dreadlocks as "ombré", which can be confusing for buyers. Transitionals combine two or more colors of fiber, with a blended join where they meet. Ombré use gradient dyed fiber for a smoother blend.
