Beauty, Complexity, and Color

Tie-Dye has been an artistic outlet for me for well over 40 years. I can recall my mother making the six of my siblings custom tie-dye clothing back in 1969, so if memory serves, I must thank Mom for my first instruction into the form. In my teen years and early 20s this art form came into my life again when my friends and I jumped into the largest traveling party of the time -- otherwise known as The Grateful Dead tours. Over the decades, my work progressed from an experimental apprenticeship in the parking lots and campgrounds iconic shows to a career in which I produce for catalogs, companies, and department stores such as Barneys and Bloomingdales.

After many decades of creating for the masses, this site serves as something different. It is here I return to my original relationship with tie dye of selling stand-alone and specially selected pieces that I feel show the capabilities of the tie dye art form.

Selected for their beauty, complexity, or as an example of a new experimental technique, these items represent an artistic endeavor, and make available select, stand-out pieces.

Pieces are one-of-a-kind, and or that reason are available by product number (Men’s Item #15, Woman’s Item #4, etc.). The Intend goal to produce a uniquely beautiful piece every time. What is listed is what is available.
