Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders
Custom made & personalised orders can not be cancelled, returned or exchanged for other shop items. They can not be refunded as they are unique custom items. Any deposits paid on a custom order can not be refunded if you fail to pay the remaining balance within 4 weeks of completion date. You can not use any sales promotions or redeem any coupons to purchase any made to order or custom made items. Custom orders can take more time and you must understand that you may be in a queue so if you need it in a hurry, let me know & you will be offered a priority option which will be an additional expense. All international orders must now be sent using Tracked and signed for rates which is more expensive but worth it for peace of mind.
Care instructions
I include instructions when necessary for clothing items and wigs. Wigs can not be washed or subjected to human heat appliances. They can not be brushed or combed. Dressed wigs which are styled must not be tampered with or you will damage them. Delicate antique fabric and material used in clothing items can not be washed or spot cleaned and can be damaged by repeated dressing use. Porcelain dolls are fragile & gently poseable. They are not toys and not meant for playing with. Care is needed in a dolls joint areas and may weaken with continuous posing. Keep all dolls house items away from children under 14 years of age as they are not toys.
Sale agreement
Orders can not be cancelled unless the seller cannot fulfil the order. Custom orders & made to order items are non refundable and cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled. A non refundable deposit is required before the work begins. If the buyer does not return or reply to seller messages within 4 weeks of an item being completed the buyer will lose their deposit and the item released for sale to someone else. Deposits on dolls,beds, & custom orders will also be lost if the buyer fails to respond to messages for details on how to complete Dolls/Beds/custom orders or requests for payment on completion. Custom orders cannot be held indefinitely on just a deposit. Wigs can not be returned or exchanged.
