So happy to announce my new printer has arrived!!! So now all my photographs will be printed by me and not by a lab, meaning I will have more control over color management and can offer more sizes!

About

Welcome to Photoreverie, Photography by Andrea Clare

Hello! My name is Andrea and my shop PhotoReverie is my collection of Fine Art Photography. I have had a passion for photography since I was a little kid when I would look at the photos in the Newspaper with my Dad and he would read me the stories. I received my first camera, a Vivitar 35mm when I was about 5 years old and was hooked instantly. I started out taking photos of my cats then ventured around taking pictures of everything and anything. I knew I wanted to be a Professional Photographer when I graduated High School. So I majored in Fine Art Photography in College, earned my BFA from the University at Buffalo and really struggled to find my own style.

After College I was an apprentice for a local Wedding Photographer and she encouraged me to start my own Photography business, which started as a photo restoration business. I went on to freelance for a local Newspaper for about four years, eventually leaving because I did not feel creative enough, it wasn't the kind of photography I wanted to do.

I opened my Etsy shop in 2010 and it has been my daily therapy. I want to create work that I would want to hang on my walls at home. I do as much as I can in front of the camera and do very little post processing. I love themes such as Fairy Tales and Vintage nostalgia. Before every Art Photo I create I sketch it out in a drawing notebook, that way I can set up the composition, lighting details and figure out props, I do this so I am more organized and things tend to go a lot smoother.

I am also President of a local Photography Club and we have bi-weekly meetings with challenges. Each challenge has pushed me to explore styles and lighting situations which were once out of my comfort zone. Every photo I take I learn a little more about myself and where my inspiration comes from.

In the fall of 2015 I became a mother for the first time! This pushed me to quit my day job as a Medical Records Technician and strive to run my Etsy shop full time. I am getting things revamped and working on some new images and am so excited I can wake up everyday and play with my baby girl and work on my shop when she naps.

I look forward to the future of my Etsy shop because I have a lot of new ideas and will be adding photo jewelry into my shop soon. I am also redoing our studio work room, so I will put up some photos when I am finished!

Most items are made-to-order and printed with help from an outside manufacturer. Prints are shipped using rigid stay flat photo mailers and secured in a plastic sleeve with an extra backing board. Larger prints may be shipped in a tube mailer or a large cardboard box, depending on the buyers location. Depending on buyers location very large prints may be shipped directly from an outside photo lab to ensure the safety of delivery of your print.

**INTERNATIONAL BUYERS**
Please be aware of your country's importation fees and taxes on merchandise. These fees are not included in your item cost or shipping costs and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Importation fees and taxes will not be reimbursed. International shipping can take well over a month to receive your item, depending on how fast the item goes thru customs.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me if an item is received damaged or you think it might be lost. If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact me, I will exchange it or issue a refund if you return the item in the original condition in which you received it, you will cover the cost of the return shipping. Please be aware that I utilize outside sources for printing and shipping most of my photo products. When you place your order in my shop, I start the order with my printing company right away. Once an order has been sent to the printing company, I cannot cancel or make any changes.

Due to the nature of utilizing an outside printing company and their drop shipping services, if a customer requests a cancellation, I cannot cancel the order at that time, even if it has not shipped yet. Upon receipt, the buyer will be responsible for returning the item to me (not the printing company). Once I have received the item, I will refund the item cost. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message before making your purchase.
