beautiful just as depicted and described :)
I am passionate about being an Artist/Photographer.
I was a college student, studying Art while being a stay at home Mom to 3 young children. It took me a while to be able to afford to go to college, so I was over the moon when I was finally able to do it :)
I am passionate about being an Artist/Photographer. I see so much beauty in the world around me; I constantly want to share how I see the world with others :)
Although my training as an Artist is classical, when creating my artwork I am at my happiest (or in the zone :) when making abstract pieces :)
With my Photography, I strive to produce images that are more traditional, SOOC (Straight out of camera) shots, using no flash but using the amazing natural light at different times of the day and night falling from various angles across my lenses. Capturing the moments as I see the world. (In a nano second of joy forever held :)
Recently, I have found the beauty of Photoshop and adding layer upon layer of my photos together to create a final image is incorporating the magic of technology and passion for a more powerful art image, which mirrors the process I use in my abstract painting, adding layer upon layer of beautiful colours to complete an art piece - I have found my zone here too :)
I believe I grow every year as an Artist/Photographer and it is a great joy to be able to create everyday. :)
I'm blessed to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my Hubby of 30 years and our wonderful close Family :)
I grew up in Coventry, England. Moved to London, England (totally left part of my Heart there) then moved to Vancouver B.C. Canada, then back to my Beloved London, then to L.A. USA, then back to my Beloved London, then to Reading, Berkshire, England, then to Vancouver Wa. USA, then to Portland Or. USA :)
As most of you know, Life doesn't always go to plan and 24 years ago I found that out with a bolt out of the blue. And so, I have been physically challenged for all of that time but I try to stay positive everyday, staying focused on what I can do and not dwelling on what I can't do (Although, sometimes that is easier said than done). I am truly grateful I can still create and so blessed that I have a loving family who support my endeavours to live as "NORMAL" as possible everyday :)
To that end, I am grateful that Etsy now allows sellers to drop ship to our customers. I do use a Professional lab to produce my Photography. One that is trusted (by me) and used by many Photographers & Artists on Etsy. This company does a wonderful job and the photography and art prints are produced in the U.S.A
I have also, recently, started to use another company to add my Photography and Artwork to Home Decor items; Art Prints, Wall Clocks, Pillow Covers and Shower Curtains, Wall Tapestries and other items; this company is also used and trusted by many Artists and Photographers on Etsy all around the world.
I LOVE the Etsy community; all the support I have received and all the friendships I have made over the years. People are generous with their advice and encouraging with their support and enlightening with their inspirational commitment. I hope I have also been able to contribute and be helpful to others too when they have asked for assistance :)
I truly appreciate all the people who have supported my Etsy shop and my customers who have returned multiple times to purchase from me and also tell me how much they love my work. It goes a long way in the process of helping me feel "Normal" So, my friends, A BIG "THANK YOU" to you all :) Regards, T.x
