El arte y el dibujo se sienten como en casa para mí....
Art & drawing feels like home to me....
Mi primer recuerdo de haber sido atraído al mundo del arte fue a los 5 años y mirando el atractivo papel de carnicero montado en el caballete en el preescolar y deseando desesperadamente (pero demasiado desesperadamente tímido para) tomar los lápices y comenzar a dibujar.
Desde entonces, siempre me ha encantado dibujar, pintar e incursionar en la artesanía y he asistido a varios cursos de bellas artes, tanto en la universidad como con clases privadas, logrando algunos grandes resultados a lo largo de los años, incluidos algunos premios, pero una vida ocupada me impidió sumergirme realmente en actividades artísticas hasta hace unos años.
Mi amor por el arte me atrajo a Picture Framing y, después de la capacitación, ahora tengo un negocio de encuadre de imágenes a tiempo parcial, basado en el hogar: PicToFrame. Mis marcos son todos cortados, unidos y ensamblados por mí utilizando equipos de enmarcado manual profesional en mi estudio en casa.
La vida todavía está ocupada con compromisos familiares y trabajando en mi trabajo remunerado regular, entre otras cosas, ¡pero trato de encontrar el tiempo para producir algunas "cosas" creativas en el camino!
Tenemos 3 whippets y son una inspiración para muchas de mis fotos.
¡Me encanta que Etsy nos proporcione un medio para que yo y otros mostremos nuestra creatividad!

My first memory of being lured into the world of art was at 5 years old and looking at the enticing butcher paper mounted on the easel at pre-school and desperately wanting to (but too desperately shy to) pick up the pencils and start drawing.
Ever since then I have always loved to draw, paint & dabble in craft and have attended several fine art courses, both at college and with private classes, achieving some great results over the years - including some awards - but a busy life prevented me from really immersing myself into artistic pursuits until a few years ago.
My love of art drew me to Picture Framing &, after training, I now have a part time, home based picture framing business - PicToFrame. My frames are all cut, joined & assembled by me using professional manual framing equipment in my home studio.
Life is still busy with family commitments and working at my regular paid job among other things but I try to find the time to produce some creative 'stuff' along the way!
We own 3 whippets and they are an inspiration for many of my pictures.
I love that Etsy provides a means for me and others to display our creativity!
