Originally from Washington, D.C., Vyktoria Pratt Keating moved to beautiful and sunny Sedona, Ariz., in 1999. One day in 2004, a friend merely suggested that she might enjoy making homemade soap. The proverbial lightbulb went off and the very next day Vyktoria was ordering ingredients and learning everything she could about soap.

She started making natural, handmade soap that year and just six months later opened a retail store in Pie Town, New Mexico, in 2005. Taking the biz to Arizona two years later, she established Pie Town Soap Co. as a wholesale business. In 2016 she joined Etsy and has greatly enjoyed selling online to this appreciative community.

Each product is completely unique to Pie Town Soap, as she personally creates both her own scent combinations and vivid, eye-catching packaging with uniquely clever names appealing to a wide range of buyers. You will not find the same scents or packaging in any other soap line!

A sensitive and compassionate alchemist, Vyktoria is a former multi-cd, award-winning musician and touring artist who, during her 25 year career, released eight albums, toured 700,000 miles and opened 42 shows for rock icons Jethro Tull. Her soapmaking blends the fragrant mix of influences that now result in the natural products customers are applauding everywere! (And she sings as she soaps...)
In 2012 Vyktoria secretly expanded to more stores, many of the creations bearing the inspiration of her many years in Sedona and the Southwest. This led to her being commissioned, in 2014, by a national chain of Yoga centers to create an essential-oil meditation blend called "Bird of the Soul," which has sold over 20,000 units, each one manufactured by Vyktoria.

Working this intensely with essential oils inspired her to nurture her own line of aromatherapy oils and misters, which continues to expand. She feels the magic of aromatherapy is in the process of choosing the oils necessary for the full spectrum of their healing notes for body, mind, and spirit, and then combining the oils synergistically. She also makes use of the power of words to attend the products for what they do, and when she names her handiwork and writes its text, another song is sung.
Vyktoria loves to inspire others to live their dreams, and aromatherapy can work on many levels to "change the energy."

Her soap is vegan, with a base of coconut, olive, and sustainable palm, shea butter, and a variety of skin-nourishing botanicals like clays, colloidal oatmeal, aloe, green tea, sea mud, flowers, and herbs. The soap is gentle yet cleansing, with outrageous lather and wonderful, unique scent combinations that are the result of lots of experimentation and different noses.

Vyktoria truly loves her work, including meeting and co-creating with clients -- and especially the creative outlet that crafting bath & body items provides.
