Welcome and merry meet! I am Jayde, the owner and artist of Pieces of Jayde. I create everything you see personally here in my home studio in the Indiana Dunes.

Each piece of my jewelry is one-of-a-kind, handcrafted with the utmost care. I use specimen quality crystals that I've chosen at gem and mineral shows as well as from my trusted online suppliers. The stones I use are ethically sourced, an important part of my work. Also, any organics I use, such as leaves, feathers, honeycomb and skulls/antlers/bones, are cruelty-free and eco-harvested without harming the animal.

Jewelry By and for Free Spirits

Stones are the stoic keepers of earth’s energy. When I select one for my work, that stone becomes my connection to the spirit of the land. Each spiral and loop I form in the metal becomes part of a harmonious link between earth and soul. My inspiration often comes from walks in the woods, where a fern’s graceful tendrils or a leaf’s curvy contours are reflected in the pieces I create in my studio. I prefer to work with stones that are natural and undyed, as well as silver and copper. Each piece is unique and completely hand worked, using simple hand tools, my own two hands and the focus of intention for the wearer. My goal in creating jewelry is to design pieces that synergize vision with adornment to create a piece of unique and cherishable wearable art.

Welcome to Pieces of Jayde's Etsy store! The pieces you see here were created by hand in my studio in northwest Indiana, a mile from the shores of Lake Michigan. These are not mass produced or "buy/sell" pieces--each is unique.

You will see my beloved Duneland reflected in my work, from beach stones and sea glass to acorns I find on my hikes through the Dunes and woods. Whenever possible, I allow the metal to frame the stone, because no one can improve upon Mother Nature's beauty!

My work is one-of-a-kind, and your support helps me feed my family. I source my stones carefully, and test each piece thoroughly for quality, comfort and sturdiness before listing it. My work is cruelty-free; NO animals were harmed or killed to be harvested for parts. These are found objects only (feathers, wings, bones, etc.)

Positivity and good intentions are very important to me, and my workspace is cleansed often to maintain an environment of love and tranquility. Many of my pieces are created for people struggling with maladies that require every good intention be infused into pieces that may be used as a tool for wellness.

If you live in the northwest Indiana area, I also teach wire-wrapping classes, and am working on an online option for this, too! Stay tuned!

Blessings to you as you walk your path. May ours cross soon! Namaste!
