Postage is usually charged as closely as possible to current Royal Mail First Class prices + packaging.

*SHIPPING TIMES: Postage times change throughout the year, but I will generally post item/s between 0 - 5 days from your order. If you choose Standard Postage, please expect to receive your item/s between 1 - 8 days in UK and Ireland and between 3 - 28 days elsewhere.

US & Mexican Customers: As most customers from this area expect a tracking number, I have now taken away the option of non-tracked shipping on many items. Tracked shipping costs money and this is why you will now find that your delivery is more expensive in USA and Mexico. If you want free shipping AND a tracking number and you are in the US, please spend over $35 and it will be automatically applied. Thank you.

"Standard Post" Policies: If you choose Standard Shipping, Royal Mail states that International Standard shipping takes 5 - 7 days, but I have often found that it can take anything between 1 - 3 weeks, depending on the reliability of our respective countries' postal services. Please be patient.

All items are packaged securely, with my sender address on the back and I keep receipts and proof of postage for 2 months, doing all I can to ensure your parcel is safe. A tracking number will not be provided with Standard post. Please choose Tracked options for a tracking number. While most of my higher priced originals now have automatic tracked shipping, some less expensive items don't as this would significantly raise the price for you and I want to give you the option of choosing cheaper standard shipping.

MISSING POST: Sadly, items sometimes do get lost in the post with standard shipping. If possible, please do choose a Tracked postage option for speed and peace of mind, especially for original artworks, which cannot be replaced. If you choose standard shipping and your parcel does not arrive, I do not offer refunds. Instead, I will be happy to send you a replacement of equivalent value.

IMPORTANT: If you choose Standard Shipping, the missing post policy above only applies if you contact me within 60 days from when you received a shipping dispatch notification.

I NO LONGER SHIP TO GERMANY: I will no longer be shipping to Germany from 1st July 2022 due to new legislation of having to register with a German packaging register to participate in being blamed for climate change or receive a fine!

At no point will I be participating in such schemes under any circumstances whether they are run by Etsy, my country's government or that of another country. My packaging is already as eco-friendly as possible, but I will not be monitored and measured as an individual for my 'waste' or carbon use or any other such ridiculousness.

I will continue to package everything I send in recycled, re-used or biodegradable packaging wherever possible as I always have done, without being forced to by a system of fines!! Do not submit to social credit systems which will start as 'carbon footprint' monitoring systems: 'carbon footprint' being a term invented by oil companies to pave the way for passing the blame onto individuals instead of corporations. We can love the planet but STAY FREE!

GDPR information.

I have copied and pasted what follows below from Etsy to comply with new GDPR laws. In a nutshell, I will not use your information for anything other than to fulfil your order or to resolve disputes. I may send communications to you about your order, including thank you coupons after an order, but this will always be through the Etsy messaging service and not through email unless you have first contacted me via email or it is necessary to transfer photo files for pet portraits through email, but this will be discussed first through the Etsy messaging service. I will never pass your email address onto a third party, except for to comply with laws. Obviously the postal service will also have your address. The only circumstance under which I will store your email address will be if you sign up to my mailing list outside of Etsy, for which you must agree to receive email marketing from me.

Information I Collect

To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom pet portrait, for example), if you contact me directly.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Your Rights

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.

Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
